On the edge

Over Facebook this morning, Andy (Citrus-Lizard) and myself arranged to meet over Kinver Edge and do a few caches over that way. Kinver Edge has always been a special place to me as it reminds me of when I was a nipper and used to visit there.

A series of 3 caches (formerly 7) going over the top of the Edge, there are also 3 more caches on the route. Terrain is not too bad but a fair ascent to get up there from nearby car parks. This area really is stunning, great views and lots of trees.

Cool tree!

Our path down :)

We had some fun coming down after as there were dirt tracks and jumps for extreme people haha. We thought we were dangerous running and sliding down them but some people do jumps down them on bikes!! We rejoined path near the road where we had parked and headed off in opposite direction to go for another 3 caches by C/O Bill Teptember , these were The Test That Stumped Them All , The Musical Box and YYZ.  These were all nice caches with effort put in and of course they are named after rock tracks. We completed these and headed back to car park to do 3 drive by's by the same C/O and in the same them.

We bagged 12 caches around Kinver.

We then moved on to Bell's Mill by FungimanForager, this was a cache I have been to twice before but it wasn't there both times. This time it had been moved and was a lot easier than it was originally.

We then did 2 more caches further on together before we parted ways for the day. Yet another great day and reason why Geocaching is great.

Total caches for day = 15.
