A spot of chasing by torchlight

Tonight I was sitting around being lazy until I had alerts for new cache publications. 4 popped up very close to home and were owned by Bailey Rangers.
I love their caches as they really make you think and very often there is a twist to them. so within 30 seconds I had made my mind up I was going after them.

I parked up at Micro without a twist 3 and within a minute or so Adam & Becky also arrived and so we searched together and soon found this easy one to start off with.

Becky waited in the car and Adam and myself were to walk to the next 2.

We made our way to Micro With a Twist 7 and struggled keeping to the path as it was difficult bty torchlight, we were about 100ft away and not sure how to get to GZ but luckily spotted away into all the trees. Once at GZ the cache was found very quickly but without giving anything away...getting to the logbook was not straightforward-although it didn't take long to get to it.

We moved on to Micro without a twist 2 and after initially looking at wrong area this was a quick find too, but dammit Paul (SOAPY chickens) had beaten us to it and was even watching us.

We all had a bit of banter with eachother and all went together to the last cache Micro without a twist 4. We parked up close to a little gulley leading into a park area so we kept torches off until we were past the houses and it didn't take long to find the cache.

I have had a great hour or so and managed 3 out of 4 FTF's.....3 were with AdamandBeckyChater and 1 with SOAPY chickens.

Just time for one

Well I was hoping Geohatter the reviewer would be publishing some new caches tonight and thankfully he released one a few miles away in Romsley.

This cache was an unknown so work had to been done. Information had to be taken from the listed coords from 2 plaques on a bench and Heritage sign, you then had to work out the coords and head to GZ for the final stage, but as always with Bailey Rangers caches there is a twist enabling it to be an unknown rather than a multi.
While I was gaining some of the info required at stage one, by caching buddies and FTF rivals turned up....firstly AdamandBeckyChater and then team Maxtrev. We completed all the rest together and after the twist we soon had cache in hand or so we thought, it turned out that it wasn't the final cache but confused us that there was a logbook in.
I returned  days later with Jules of the Bedfords and made the find after a hint from maxtrev.

Island hopping

Well well well what shall I do tonight, theres nothing on the TV and I fancy doing something different?
Well now this is different!! I got email notifications of 4 new caches in the Oldbury area placed by a friend, Paul., Well I can get there pretty quick as it's only 1 junction up the M5, so I downloaded them to the Oregon and set off into the unknown- I say this as I didn't read listings or take much info as to where they were.
As I was on the way I had a call off Dave (Dibboid) saying he was on the way to them.
I got there first so parked up at McDonalds and got prepared.

You need to get the numbers out of 3 of the caches, which I  didn't do as I hadn't read description.

As soon as Dave turned up we knew where the caches GZ was, it was right in the middle of a traffic island, infact all 4 were. Luckily I went straight to the first one and we were in business, no torches required thank goodness. We bagged another before bumping into Becky and Adam (AdamandBeckyChater) who then joined us on finding the last 2.
At the last one Marcus and Debbie (Darlaston Duo's) had beat us to it.

We could not stop giggling at the cheekiness of these caches and the fact that they will be so hard to do in the daylight when the traffic is heaving.
Great fun.
